Girly Cloud Nine Theme

I noticed cute girly Wordpress themes are scarce, so I decided to make one. It has a pink header, cloud logo, and beige background. The sidebar and footer are also widget ready.

Features of this free theme

Admin Options Panel

  1. Enable and disable social icons. Type in your usernames. (Flickr, Facebook, Twitter, RSS)
  2. Hide or show About box. Edit it from options panel.
  3. Featured posts. Also hide or show it option.
  4. Two ad spaces: 468×60 (in header) and 300×250 (top of sidebar).
  5. A place to insert your Google Analytics code, or any other stats codes.

More Features

  1. Post thumbnails. When editing your posts, upload an image, and choose “Use as Thumbnail”.
  2. Featured posts with thumbnails. Let’s you feature posts on the sidebar from “Settings” in your Admin panel.
  3. Social share icons on posts and pages. (Digg, Stumble Upon, Del.icio.us, Reddit, Facebook, Twitter) using short URLs.
  4. Alternating comment colors. Also with unique Author comment styles.
  5. Widget ready sidebar.
  6. Widget ready footer (three).

Theme F.A.Q.

How do I edit the Featured Posts? In your admin panel, go to settings, and click Featured Posts List. From there, type in the numbers of the posts you would like to feature. A quick way to find the numbers is to go to edit posts and look at the URL.

I’m confused..how do I’m new to wordpress, how do I even put this theme on for me? I can’t find it under the themes page, and I have the free account, so does that mean I can’t do it? Because it won’t let me save changes for CSS or anything. And I tried doing the “feature” FAQ thing..hoping that was it, but unfortunately I couldn’t find it. :(

I love it! I’ve been a fan of Aerocharm for… forever. Now, I’m an official fan of Skechie. I hope you continue building your brand. You are super talented.

    xoxo,

    Steph.

This theme is for Wordpress blogs, not Tumblr. You can find Tumblr themes under the Tumblr Themes section. Sorry for the confusion.

Hi there! I’m absolutely in love with this cute theme! I’m using it now. :) Anyways, I have a tiny bit of a problem with the WP-Pagenavi.

    It says above the navigation:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_action() in /home2/nqaiyima/public_html/wp-content/themes/Girlycloudnine/wp-pagenavi.php on line 32

Under the index.php, page.php, search.php and archive.php, under this section below,

if I let it remain as this, the sidebar won’t show. But if I include http://n-qaiyimah.net/wp-content/themes/Girlycloudnine/wp-pagenavi.php as shown below:

to replace wp-pagenavi.php, everything will look fine except for that fatal error message shown in those pages.

I’ve been trying to sovle the problem for 2 days now but I can’t seem to know what’s the problem. I’ve tried uninstalling and resintalling WP-PageNav i and even deleting WP of the server and reinstalling it again but nothing seems to work.

I hope you can help me out. Thanks a lot! :)

    with just this:

and it’s all better now! Hehe… Sorry about that! Anyway, I love your site! :)

    Hi,

Can you tell me how I install this into Wordpress. I have tried everything and it just won’t work!

    Thanks

  12. admin on June 8th, 2010

Do you use a wordpress.com account or did you install Wordpress onto a website? If you use wordpress.com, it won’t let you use the theme. If you installed Wordpress onto your website, upload the theme’s folder to /wp-content/themes, enable it in Appearance (in admin panel), and it will work fine.

Glad you got it working. Thanks. :]

    Hi,

I love this theme for my wife’s new blog. I am having trouble installing the theme. I am using Network solutions for the hosting and am installing the theme to the local host.

when installing I got this issue.

    Unpacking the package.

    Installing the theme.

    Theme Installed successfully.

Any ideas on how I can fix it? I am new to word press and my wife wants to show off her pictures.

    Thanks

I am really unsure how you would go about fixing that problem. The theme is in good working order, so it is most likely something to do with your plug-ins you have installed.

Hi! I love this theme! However, I wanted to use it without post thumbnails to the right of my posts, but can’t figure out which bit in the code to remove – please could you tell me which bit to edit/remove? Thanks!
