My browser of choice is hands down Mozilla Firefox because of the add-ons it offers. Without out some of these add-ons, it would take me much longer to carry out certain tasks when working on designs and websites. So I made a quick list of the most useful Firefox Add-ons in hopes other people would find them useful as well. Feel free to leave a comment if you have one to add.
These are some really random paint textures made with acrylic paints. They are all on white backgrounds, so it should be fairly easy to integrate them into your designs.
When I got my Mac, I definitely had no complaints. That was until I realized my images were losing their color when I saved them, whether I used File > Save as or File > Save for Web and Devices. I’m not blaming this on my Mac, it’s actually a monitor issue. I searched and searched for a solution only to end up with nothing. I started messing around with settings and came up with a solution. I noticed cute girly Wordpress themes are scarce, so I decided to make one. It has a pink header, cloud logo, and beige background. The sidebar and footer are also widget ready.
If you want to limit the number of words on your Wordpress posts or excerpts, these come in handy.
Today I took some photos of sketch tools. It includes a sketch book, sketching pencils, charcoal pencils, graphite pencils, a ruler, and a pencil sharpener. If you find them useful, feel free to use them.
Here are lots of watercolor textures I’ve made over the last few days. To blend the edges of the textures with your designs, try putting them on a layer, and setting the layer’s blend mode to darken, multiply, color burn, etc.
Have multiple image files you need to convert to another format such as PNG or JPG in bulk? If you already own Adobe Bridge and Adobe Photoshop, this is an easy, free way to do so. It is also helpful if you are looking to convert CR2 camera images to JPG or PNG formats.
